Hey there Flood!
I love this one! The emotion is palpable as you can see if in the grandmother's face. I am hoping this blasted virus will be behind us soon so we can all give our loved ones a hug who we haven't seen for awhile.

Well this is a perfect scene for these unique times we are all facing.
This young girl with long blonde hair wearing a red shirt, gives her grandma an air hug from outside as grandma wearing a protective mask motions a hug through the window.
They both have faith that this will pass and it will be okay.
Very nice attention to the details as usual Mark, well chosen and applied colors and tones, nice entry for this contest! Best wishes to you!

A well composed image, it has a good flow, and speaks to the times.
I like the use of the stippling. Might have been nice to have added a little yellow or orange instead of the black and white, like give that feeling of hope.

Still with that said, what you have done is very well.

Thank you for allowing me to review and rate you work.
Have great weekend, cheers.

This looks as if it came strait out of a children's story book for the current time we are facing. Have you considered contacting any writers and or making a story of your own with a collection of works centered around the pandemic? I think it would be very appropriate and it could get a lot of attention from children and adults.

My mother is a teacher for children with special needs and as she has been doing online classroom meetings with students and parents, I can see how difficult this time has been on children who can't comprehend the magnitude of what is happening in the world. I believe that illustrations like this and short stories of hope can help these children and parents feel safe.

Anyways, amazing work! I hope you consider making more pieces like this.

Mark this is the most powerful and heartfelt image that I have seen in this pandemic, for me this really hits home and gives a snapshot of millions of families that are having this type of feeling and emotions, everything done through closed windows and doors taking away all our human family activities, well worth a 6 star rating if I had any!

glad you like it adrian..this one will only have maybe a 25% shot for the emotion of the work for this contest. still they will base the vote on art quality and since mine is a cartoon my chance will be slim to none but what the hell im going at it anyway..wink. thanks for the awesome review.

Very topical presentation and well mastered composition.Main subject nicely centred and then the added foreground subject to introduce the main subject with open arms..a very sensitive piece of art work my friend and can envisage this being a contender big time
