I find it hard to capture the moon. And, being this is natural, it is even more awesome! Good capture, it would make a good subject for a night painting.

A very good and fascinating image posted here into the competition! You slightly off-centre composition captures, to me, a view of the moon that I have not seen before. Like those yellow, orange and red tones. Well done and good luck!

(in a witch cackling voice) "as the moon turns to blood, so does the dark creatures of the night attack to make the land the same color!' yeah i know to many horror movies..wink..lol. cool capture. the clarity is great. the angle of the shot of this starting of the blood moon is great. the capture of the light is great. the image is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. good eye and great job overall.

Like this the blood mood really does look like another world of universe, the black night sky surrounding it with just a hint of the stars shinning through makes a pleasing image and a different one, good luck with the contest!
