Yes Lucien this works for me not just the style of image but with the father fun or comical title this makes the image different from just another flower shot, it takes away the seriousness and no matter if the image has faults or not you have show to the viewer that camera skill and knowhow does not really matter here and for me that works with the little one in the background trying to catch up, and the shapes of the flowers are very striking with those pointed tips and the colours makes them pop out from the background .
Does it matter that the background looks like two different halves, black on the right and black and green on the left? No not really in this case because of the title it the title was the name of the flower them you it probably would but that fun title saves the day in this case!!

Titles help, the composition speaks for itself, the angle and depth is enhanced by the way it was shot, the greenery on the left gives it perspective and depth.

These are beautiful flowers and I have never seen any like this. I love the dark background which I think makes them stand out. I think that the two in front want to show off their beauty while the other one just sits back and wait till they fade away and then he will be the one who finishes with flying colors.
