oh betcha at 1st that but went "oh sh#$! i thought it was a gun at 1st! whew!"..lol..yeah he is lucky deer season really not till november down in the south..wink. the clarity is great. the angle of the shot of this buck in the high grass is great. the capture of the light is great. the image is balance and eye appealing to the viewer. good eye and great job overall.

A very nice shot that used to be a lot easier to get before the days of autofocus. Nowadays the autofocus tends to grab the closer weeds. A well composed shot with fine colors.

Hi Jack, this is a wonderful capture of the gorgeous Buck, he is standing so proudly as he looks right at you! In spite of the tall grasses, he is easily seen , the tall grasses allow a good sense of his location.
This is well focused, this image is clear, now look at the inside of his ears and the area on his muzzle below his eyes, do you see that blue tone? This can easily be corrected with your photo editor, if you just desaturate on those parts . That will eliminate that blue tint. If you make these changes, I will update my review! Otherwise this is well composed and presented!

Quite a nice nature shot posted here, but your notes are somewhat confusing! Your fine and classical composition offers us an enjoyable view of deer. Sharpness and exposure are good. Nicely done!

The buck looks conservative and benign but probably would protect his territory. The photo is well focused and exposed and has good depth. The buck is in sharp focus and the colors are realistic. The animal is well placed within the frame. The composition is balanced.

That's a great shot, Jack! It's great to see a well composed photo like this with its surroundings included. The grass/weeds aren't so thick that can't see it. The focus is clear and the colors a well managed.

You're very welcome! So many people just want an animal isolated and no atmosphere. You have to do what pleases you! Photography is very subjective, ignore a bunch of flack and make yourself happy.
