Beautiful photo of these Wagtails! It looks like the baby is growing up, he's as big as his Mom. Excellent sharpness throughout the photo. Very well done!

    Barbara,
Thanks a million for your complementary review on this female & juvenile Grey Wagtail on a rock in the river Dodder. One the fledglings leave the nest with ALL their feathers replacing the down they have coming out of the nest they are the same size as the adult birds.
Ducklings & Goslings are tiny they leave the nest at an earlier stage long before they get their feathers.

Great presentation of these two Doggers peacefully sitting on the rock. Wonderful composition and framing. Natural colors and details are very nice. Great photograph to share, Susan.

Very nice capture. Love the reflections in the water. The birds are beautiful to look at. Appears to be taken at the right time of day for lighting.

Nicely taken photo, the composition is well balanced between main subjects and the negative space, focus is sharp and crisp on the two birds. Also the colors are good throughout the photo, again creating that balanced look..

Have great day,
Cheers.

This is a great capture Susan! These birds are a pleasure to view. They have lovely markings and they are positioned on the rock attractively. I enjoy seeing the difference in their colors between the fledgling and the adult.

    Grace,
Thanks a million for your complementary review on these Grey Wagtails on the rock in the river Dodder. I followed them up & down. Stretch of the river taking pictures when ever they stayed long enough to get a focus on them..this was the best of about 15 shots.

Such a cute little pair of wagtails - don't think we have this coloring wagtail. Great timing to get the two together. Focus on one bird is good difficult to get sharp on both. Color and composition good.

This is an interesting photo. Although, the capture is soft, it shows good detail and realistic colors. The baby has almost the size of its mother, but I can see that the bird at left is the youngster on the different coloring of its plumage. The dark background emphasizes the birds and their stone nicely. The Birds are well placed within the frame. The composition is balanced.
