Well, tornado warnings are scary for everyone, even adults. A few days ago we had one here, fortunately without touch down, but I did not sleep all night. You have an excellent memory. That black swirl looks indeed like an approaching tornado. It even has that 3D view. The shades of gray and black are very realistic. The tornado is perfectly placed within the frame. The painting is well composed.
