Bewitching and beguiling and at the same hour too! I once caught the night train from my University in Leipzig east Germany /our sister Uni of UEL/ to Budapest and was entranced as early morning we arrived in Austria and as we passed through very early in the morning, there was a hovering mist around the mountains and houses. I have painted it recently as it was so lovely/no camera, I rarely carry one and did not then 1993 own a mobile /

It has a really nice monochromatic visual feel to the photo. The flow of the various components from one to the other both as colors and shapes I visually very good. The image also has a nice depth and perspective, as you travel from foreground into the background and sky.

It has a really nice monochromatic visual feel to the photo. The flow of the various components from one to the other both as colors and shapes I visually very good. The image also has a nice depth and perspective, as you travel from foreground into the background and sky.

I love th3 tint on this. The whole scen has a copper finish. The point you chose to take this is very good and enabled us to enjoy so much from the lightness in the sky through the mountain range to mist above land at waters edge, then the glinting water capturing dark shadows and light sky reflection. Finally we have the forefront land and those tree silhouettes just peeking into sight. Great composition, focus and balance.

I believe I am convinced that I need to move to Alaska. To be around so many beautiful sights has to bring joy to your soul. I love a misty morning or evening. These mountains are gorgeous! The sky is beautiful. The sun shining on the water and through the mist to give the picture an ethereal feel. Simply beautiful.

Beautiful scene here Pat. The overall tones work so well in this one. The soft mist of the clouds gently illuminated by the rising sun add a wonderfully mystic look and feel.
The loam colors are particularly effective in setting the peaceful silence as the world begins to wake from a nights slumber.

I really like how the simple silhouettes of the mountain aren't that simple: they have these gradients of mist and tan colors that give them a very majestic feel to them. The horizontal lines all across the photo give it a great sense of vastness. I like the tan undertones of color, giving it a warm atmosphere, and it just feels like it's going to be a warm day by seeing this sunrise.
