it looks like a miniature artichoke, but it is probably something else; I'm always surprised by the quality of pics taken with some modern cell-phones: no need to carry a heavy camera! your shot could be worth a 6 with a better framing; you should leave more space where your flower is "looking"; your flower bud should be at the right bottom corner, not the opposite;

The colour green with the colour purple which pretty much stands out more than the green ! However, that doesn't take away the fact that this is a nice composition of the bud and the green foliage surrounding the bloom.Nice sharp focusing throughout too
