This is so pretty, I especially appreciate the blue/ green tones in the water and the rich orange tones in the sky and the awesome way these two colors play off of each other in this scene! It's a wonderful silhouetted tree line to separate sky from land. Very well captured with good focus, the image is clear, exposure is correctly managed, the colors are gorgeous and appear true and natural. This is an amazing place and your artists notes are well written , informative and greatly appreciated! Well composed and presented! Very best wishes to you in this contest!

Another neat one, Steve, with seamless post processing. The geyser basin is definitely the star and your presentation of both its colors and depth is outstanding. Oh Boy! What a shot! Looks as though it is on some other strange planet. Thanks for the detailed notes too, which unfortunately goes above my head. Overall this shot of Yellowstone park makes for compulsive viewing.

I love this photo and thank you for the science lesson...so interesting! I have visited Yellowstone National Park and have seen the hot springs. I guess what appeals to me the most are the colors in this work. The pink/purple sky in contrast with the blue/yellow green hot spring. It is so artistic! Stunning photo!! Nature makes the best art!
