Barbara,
A beautiful portrait of the Great White Egret it's head turned & it's neck twisted into an S shape complete with the extra bonus of a perfect reflection & the shadow of it's beak on it's neck, standing out in clear contrast to the surrounding water. Artistic composition, framing & lighting taken withsuperb camera techniques & sharp focus.

Fantastic photograph of this Egret. It looks like he is
looking at his reflection in the water. Good focus and lighting. Sharp detail. Nicely composed. Well done.

Such an elegant bird in such an elegant pose, the egret is perfectly placed in the frame, focus is spot on , the image is sharp and clear, appreciate the well defined face, bill and the clear eye. I love the reflection and the way the bird is standing out from the deep green toned water, well composed and presented!

This screams elegance! Just the positioning of the bird's long, slender neck and its over-all body is so posed! You caught him/her just a the right moment! Also, the reflection contributes to this dreamy mood of the photo! Stunning photo!

This photo is well focused and exposed and has good depth. The distorted reflection is especially interesting. The photo is sharp through. I appreciate the realism of color and light. The white bird stands nicely out from the dark background. The white balance is controlled. The tall framing is perfect. The composition is balanced.

It's the "S" like shape pose that makes this so special Barbara.
You managed white balance well enough where you show no blow out, but the white is too bright which caused some loss of details in some areas. In order to Photograph a Great Egret in the bright sun you must shoot in manual with a very high Shutter speed of at least 1/3200sec or 1/4000sec. ISO must be low and no higher that 250 to 400. F/stop at F/4.5 to f/5.6 and white balance must be set manual and not left to auto. Kelvin should be at 5000k
and your exposure bias must be at zero or -1.0
Another must is to never shoot in spot meter setting. It lightens up the entire area.
Wildlife is best shot in Center meter keeping the focus on the birds eye.
It's a nice sharp capture.
White Balance is something to work on and Perfect because all colors have a temperature and all Photography is about light.
Nice work... I hope to see you grow in your work with White balance and all manual settings.

A lovely pose captured of the white egret and your exposure and white balance are well handled. The focus on the eye is sharp and the darkened background complements the image nicely.
