A very good looking entry into the contest posted here! Never heard of, nor seen a milk snake before!! In which country was this taken? Like its curling and coiling body and that red-brown eye. Exposure and sharpness are good. Well done and good luck!

I love the story, its like we had frogs live in ours when I was a kid, they would live in the sum pump hole, by the time they would be rescued some would be blind to the light, and pale in colour. This is a wonderful clear photo,, these guys can get very big, My grandfather had killed one what was 3 feet long and as big as my leg around, I like that you set her free

no basements in my area. just plenty of swamps that critters like to come to visit civilization..wink..lol. the clarity is great. the angle of the shot of the snake is great. the capture of the light is great. the image is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. good eye and great job overall.

Thanks very much,we?ve had an occasional salamander and leopard slug(they are pretty good sized) get in ,winter time it?s mice!

Thanks so much;my husband is pretty sure this is the same one that was in the garage;they often like to lie in the tracks on the overhead doors,so if you bring it up too fast they tend to fall out onto the garage floor and are none too happy.

Wow what an amazing find we have only got poisonous snakes coming onto our previous property so always go the Snake Catcher out to remove - excellent close up detail the markings and texture shown with clarity. Focus on the eye spot on - best of luck in contest great entry.

Thank you for both the review and well wishes! There are timber rattlesnakes in the area,but fortunately none around our property,hopefully it stays that way. Yeah,you have quite a lot of poisonous critters there,don?t you!?

Thanks for the great review and well wishes! They are pretty,some have more of a reddish brown color to the spots,with the background color being more of a beige or dirty cream color.
