Its interesting how butterflies go for sweet things, love the blue on this one, It is too bad it has writing on the background, it kind of takes away from seeing this little creature to the fullest

An interesting shot that has a bit of a surreal look with the writing in the background and the fruit in the polished metal bow. The butterfly is appropriately bedraggled. Good luck in the contest.

The butterfly seems bothered by life and time. The insect looks a bit raggedy, but still beautiful. Your photo is well focused and exposed. I am impressed by the realism of color and the refinement of detail. The butterfly is excellently placed within the frame. The composition is balanced.

Of course!
The banana has a higher sugar content and these Insects require it for all the energy they expend.
Your photo of this somewhat tattered looking specimen is slightly 'dark and shadowy' but overall I think that it makes for a 'Good Show' of a picture!

What a beautiful butterfly ! Interesting image to show how they place fruit in the stainless steel bowls for the butterflies .this one does seem to prefer banana.well focused, this image is clear, exposure is well managed, the colors and tones appear natural. Yes, it certainly does look that way in your fine and traditional composition. Or maybe it was on its second course?! Those wings look pretty big compared to its body. Exposure and sharpness are fine. Well done and good luck!
