What a strange way to display statues on the beach! Interesting indeed! The windmills in the background enhances the atmospherics. Thanks for sharing!

A very nice shot. There might be only one person but there are several birds. I like the way the figures balance the windmills. A very fine composition.

Defintely a dramatic photograph.
Lots to think over.
Wonder what it would look like to take a photo of this lower down to the ground? Nice eye.

Interesting photograph of only one man and two statues, somehow a large image of the tree pedals on the windmills. The composition of the photograph in black and white with so many mane made structures on the beach shores is telling story of today.

Your title was a great draw, I wanted to learn more about what I was seeing. The neutral tones are terrific, and the framing and composition make this a very interesting photo. Nice work.

Nik,
An interesting picture of the beach at Crosby with two of the many Anthony Gormley's Statues base on his own naked body that have been place on the beach going out to sea The solo Human has a more life like outline. The reflections of the Man, the Statues & Gulls add interest to the shallows & the wet sand The wind Turbines add interest to the pale sky. Artistic black & white composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

Well captured scene with two very realistic statues of men and one actual man. On the beach with the wind turbines in back adding even further interest to the scene. Well focused, the image is clear , exposure is well managed, I like the pale tones and feel that they establish the mood that suits this scene. Well composed and presented,

great shot of Crosby beach with the Antony Gormley statues. As I am just up the road in Ainsdale,Southport,Crosby is a fairly regular haunt for me and the two Bedlington Terriers. Many a photographer enjoy the sunsets that hit Crosby Beach and the bronze figures add that certain element to their pictures and yours appear to be more of a sunrise moment as the tide is slowly going out.I really like your composition and structure. The balance between the wind turbines and the stretch of sands works well.

This shot could fool me. The three figures seem to admire the windmills at the horizon. All three look like human beings. Without your comments I would not think that two of them are statues. The L:imitation of color deepens the optical illusion. The contradiction of silhouettes and light is indeed very dramatic. The photo is well focused and exposed. The three figures are excellently placed within the frame. The composition is balanced.
