Really like the black and white patterning on this lovely butterfly. It stands out well against the greens,especially the leaf with it's water droplets. A beautiful photo,well focused with excellent exposure. A wonderful contest entry,I wish you all the best!

Butterflies make such wonderful photos! I absolutely love the raindrops on the leaf it has landed on, they really add to the photo without detracting from the subject.
Perhaps a little brightening of the darks would allow the butterfly to separate from the background a little more?
Do love the small range of focus.

Butterflies make such wonderful photos! I absolutely love the raindrops on the leaf it has landed on, they really add to the photo without detracting from the subject.

I think this is a beautiful butterfly. I know it doesn't have all of the flashy colors, but that's OK. His wings are still fully attached and he looks very magnificent sitting there on the green leaf with the water droplets on it.

great image with sharp details. you did a great job filling the shot with the image. wish the background was little brighter or more of contrast to the image to make it pop more. but with this type of image kinda hard to do that. overall well done
