Lovely display of flowering wild artichokes. It is very well balanced with some flowering and others not. I love the combination of purple and green and your image has been well cropped. Good lighting to to see all the details and your capture is nice and clear. All the best in the contest Fred.

An interesting & beautiful picture of these wild globe Artichokes in bloom resembling Giant Thistles with their purple pincushion purple petals. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

Nicely structured shot with the flowers spread out appropriately across the landscape format giving the viewer a good perception of just how these plants have a tendency to grow in abundance out in the wild.I have seen these a lot on the marshes near where I live and they attract the bees in plenty too.
