Excellent shot showing the approach to the arch. I like the angle you used for this, inviting the viewer to walk along the path. Very good lighting and focus showing a nice clear image. Lovely composition. Suzanne

Love you pictures of the Arches National park Nik.
This one really shows dimensions as the people are obviously a ways from the opening and still look small in comparison.
The point of view and depth of field really works here. The path entering the scene from the bottom leads the eye to toe people and beyond.
The blue sky with those nice fluffy clouds make for a nice contrast with the browns of the rock formations.

The colors are gorgeous,love that intense blue sky with the flare of white clouds,all contrasting to the warm sandy color of the dramatic rock formations. A very well composed photo,showing the grandeur of nature,the tourists add perspective and do not detract from the beauty of these formations. Excellent focus and dof,thanks for sharing!

Just fantastic what nature creates with its rocks. I used to belong to the Sheffield University Geology Group and we would visit places of interest like this. Makes humans into small playthings in comparison, though Stonehenge is not to be sniffed at!
