interesting lamp shade as well as bird. It looks as though it casts a glow. No doubt saves on bulbs being broken. This seagull knows a good thing when it sees it!

So simple, yet still beautiful! I really like the way the light is shining off the post below the ball. The bird looks like he has been there before. Like he owns the place. The blue of the sky really helps the orange color pop

Having the main focal points, both gull and lamp not on center, and then the orange orb of lamp, to me adds to the flow of the composition.
The negative space blue color does that as well. The subjects are in good focus, and the lack of clutter is what makes this shot work.
