I really liked the colors, the textures and the whole composition, don't you think? << YES, I do :) Very busy, but somehow, that busy'ness is what makes it work! :)
I like how the yellow'y turns to the deep orange, then that leaf that comes across the front, has the yellow'y colouring - balancing.
If there was anything I would remove, it would be the little section down in the bottom right, allowing the leaves to star. Definitely texture though! :)
Good luck in the competition.

Keep creating,
Ann, OpenroadFootprint

A beautiful & interesting picture of this display of Palm fronds the sunlight giving them a red-gold hue. The basket handle adding interest to the left bottom corner with grey things in the right bottom corner. Artistic composition framing and lighting taken with superb camera techniques and sharp focus. Good luck in the contest.

The colors are very pleasing, especially the salmon tones. But I cannot identify these
"leaves." Are they natural or made of paper? Did someone arrange them or did you take the photo looking down on them? The composition is unsettling to me for those reasons and also the green stalks that are a distraction overall.

The wall in the background seems to be made from dry palm leaves cut into triangular shapes. The small green and orange flower at left and the plant parts in the foreground seem alive. The different textures of the objects are indeed interesting. The red-orange spotlight amplifies the wall and the objects. The darkness near the frame is eye-pleasing. The photo is well framed. The composition is balanced.

Intriguing photo. The color tones are warm and inviting. Perfect place for a hammock and perhaps listening to the ocean waves crash onto the shore.
