a nice work in acrylic with good structure to present this subject of a candle with the flame taking centre stage.The only constructive criticism I would have is the lack of application of paint on the cotton canvas as the canvas shows through too much,perhaps a second coat of paint in certain places may have been of benefit and subsequently cause less of a distraction from what is a really nice work

I like the simplicity of composition. Although, the painting is stylish, it shows realistic detail. The sway of the flame and the running wax are intriguing. The colors are pleasant. The candle is well positioned within the frame. The composition is balanced.
