This is a nice close-up shot of the old Dodge.. You have framed it well. The light and shadows, colours and the composition have worked out well. Good luck!!

cool capture. the angle of the shot of part of the front end of this classic dodge pickup is great. the capture of the light is great. the image is balanced and eye interesting to the viewer. good eye and great job overall.

An overall nice shot. You say sharpened, I do like the sharpness for what the subject matter is - almost HDR like. :)
I like the angle, and the scratch and rust.
Thoughts: I would perhaps, crop just slightly on the right, closer to the 100, only to remove the distraction of the unfinished detail there, and keep my eye back on the car and allow the details to stand out even more.
Good luck in the competition. :D

Thank you! I did try that but I didnt like the boxiness of the frame as well.

I love how you've captured so much detail in this old car. The warm golden colours really catch your eye and makes the rust spots really pop. It's a good angle too. Well done!

Like the way you have filled the frame with the partial old car showing the wear and tear well. Good color and your focus and dof are all good. Interesting to view

The old guy has still a lot of charm, despite his damaged skin. The photo is well focused and exposed and perfect treated with mixed media. The golden glow of the metal and the shine of the car lights is impressive. The tight framing amplifies both. The car is excellently placed within the frame. The composition is balanced.

A pretty good entry into the competition posted here! Your fine and careful composition offers us a good look at one section of that venerable car. It certainly has a fascinating collection of rust, scratches and graffiti! Exposure and sharpness are fine. Well done and good luck!

Your talents, combined with a common cell phone photo, are impressive. I love this! It looks like a painting. The pristine-condition headlamps contrast well with the rust and decay. Thanks for sharing!

A great classic car,had one myself ! in blue..this could very well have been blue originally as there are hints of it on the wheel arches, but correct me if I am wrong ! The composition is excellent with a great angle of the subject and with sharp focusing

A great entry for the contest. This one is different than the run of the mill photos of a car. As you say, this one has 'character'. Kind of like us growing older. We don't get wrinkles we acquire 'Character'.

Good POV and your after photo serves to enhance the character of this old truck.

Great entry for the contest and I wish you all the best in the voting ~ Steve
