Congratulation. This is a wonderful drawing. Very realistic. The glasses are nicely done. I can tell he is thinking about something so good story telling. Nothing to dislike here good job.

I think you created a excellent likeness of the photograph. The body proportions of the grandfather are realistic and due to the shading the skin tone looks realistic also. I am impressed by the refinement of detail. I like especially how you painted the eyes behind the glasses.

A nice portrait of grandpa with a pose of great expression on his face and his expressive hands give rise to ones own perception of "just what is he thinking" but I will leave that to the imagination ! The tones are fairly good although he must be an extremely young grandpa as skin blemishes and wrinkles of a man for this age are lacking slightly in my opinion,however,I am sure he wouldn't complain ..Overall a nice portraiture with good structure

Yes, I didn't want to make him feel too old. So I smoothed out the lines. He is rather egocentric.
