yeah cause we eat them here in the states..he is lucky i didnt spot him..410 with slug round between the eyes and there will be a BBQ on tonight!! wink. the clarity is good. the angle of the shot of this potential good BBQ is good. the capture of the light is good. the image is balance and eye appealing to the viewer. good eye and good job overall.

A very nice shot that should fare well in the contest. The tight cropping is appealing and the colors are great. Best of luck in the voting.

Sneaky guy! Never know when he will jump at unsuspecting victims! This is a nice shot of the alligator. The light and shadows, colours and the composition have worked out well. Good Luck!

He is so very well hidden here, I'm surprised you didn't stepped on it, lol great capture and love the eye lazily looking at you but not too concerned

This would have been very appropriate entry for the camouflage contest.I can hardly make out what this animal was if it hadn't been the title.The composition and structure of your presentation is very well done

A very good entry into the competition posted here! In your situation I think I would be running rather than photographing!! Your interesting and enjoyable image benefits from having a good composition with fine exposure and sharpness. Well done and good luck!

    many thanks Priit;
    one thing I learnt during my frequent visits to Africa: never run!
    when you run, you are considered as a potential prey and all animals are able to run much faster than you..;

I believe they are much less aggressive than our Australian crocodiles and certainly the ones at zoo seem to sleep most of the time - well composed photo with the branches framing the face of the alligator. Good luck in contest.

Something you do not want to meet face to face well hidden behind the lower branches of the bush an Alligator watching you as you watch it! the light sparkling in it's eye. Interesting & beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus. Good luck in the contest.
