For what do they train? Is there a sand dune climbing competition? Funny that one of the climbers tries a different path. He seems to got some advantage in doing so. Your shot is interesting. The photo is well focused and exposed. Light and colors are realistic. The climbers are perfectly placed within the frame. The composition is balanced.

I have no idea what they are training or competing for! Just discovered them as we were walking along the beach!!

That scrambling doesn't make any sense to me, but it looks funny.

an excellent stop action; it could have been a winner in a contest;
some sand dunes are very difficult to climb and it seems these belong to this type;

Very many thanks! Yes, I know that these dunes are tough to get up because I used to jog along the beach plus up and down the dunes in the 80's and 90's!

Looks like hard work to me..I always get my dogs to pull me up the dunes of Formby and Ainsdale with their leads on..so much easier.Love the composition of your presentation..they look like little ants scrambling around.Great detail and structure throughout

Wow, this looks like a challenge ! Well captured with good stop of their action.
Well focused, this image is clear, exposure is well managed, colors and tones appear true and natural. The people give scale as to the size of the dunes! Well composed and presented!

Great shot showing nice stop action and scale.
I like that we can see movement of the seagrass swaying in the breeze.
Nice exposure and nice capture.
