Very nice capture of this butterfly on the Mexican sunflower. I like the way the orange petals call attention to the orange part of the butterfly.
Well focused , this image is clear, exposure is well managed, colors and tones are natural. Well composed against the clear green background.well presented! Best wishes to you in this contest!

This close-up is exquisite. I am impressed by the sharpness of detail at the wings and body of the butterfly. The photo is excellently focused, exposed and enhanced. The colors are realistic. The butterfly stands well out from the shallow background. The neutral green emphasizes the Monarch and the flower considerably. Flower and the butterfly are perfectly placed within the frame. The composition is balanced.
