Hey Raoul!
This is really quite amazing and to me, represents one of your best drawings! The emotion is palpable in this piece as well as the realism. This reminds me of the song sung by America, "a horse with no name" if you haven't heard it look it up! haha. Truly inspiring work the depth is incredible. Great work!

you are just so skillful and have such amazingly complex ideas, that I dare not breath when I look at your work. I feel like a simpleton in comparison. You are just so special and your drawings - well, I draw things which appear in front of me, or in my mind first but then when I look at your drawings-I just cannot imagine your thoughts.

This is wonderful Raoul!
I will be very honest, as I am only beginning to get back into artwork myself, so, as far as reviewing, I am - not very good. I know when things are fabulous though and when I see something like this, I feel compelled to respond even if it isn't with any feedback that is of value to you as you are so talented :) !
Hopefully as I expand my own knowledge base, I become a better reviewer for artwork as much as (i am a photographer) photographer, so more comfortable with feedback in that area. :)

This, is just my gut feel, *i like it - respond*!
I love the details, the story it tells without needing the words, the sadness, the overwhelm. Yet, somehow, yes, romanticised.
Thank you for sharing.

Keep creating,
Ann, OpenroadFootprint

This is really cool and so well done. Awesome creativity! I had to look close at first to tell what was going on. It pulled me in. Amazing details! Really well done.

For me this drawing signifies the danger of the desert as well as the exhaustion and near death of the lone desperado and his horse. This drawing seems the quintessence of all the folktales of the North American southern states. There is a story in this drawing but the viewer is allowed to find his/her own interpretation. I am impressed by your attention to detail. Proportions and perspective are realistic. The pencil strokes are clean and exact. The drawing is well composed and framed.

Nicely done, setting the dry desert Death Valley feeling. The details on the horse and rider very well done also. From the horses saddle to the hat falling off the riders head. Well done, Robert

An interesting image with good title posted here! Seems like you traveller made it over the hills but the effort required exhausted him. Now it looks like he may perish if he does not get water soon? Nicely created!
