It is a very interesting flower. I've never seen one like it. It sure has alot of different aspects to it. Nice close up capture. The background is a little distracting but still a lovely shot.

a good close up of this very strange looking flower; why not indicate the true name, especially when entering it into a flower contest?
it is called:
cleome hassleriana, a flower native to South America;
good focus, but as usual colors hypersaturated...

Thanks very much for the suggestion. I shall include the botanical name of the flower in my notes. About the saturation, it looks as though my eyes cannot see thecolours if they are not saturated. :):)

S beautiful picture of this pink Spider Flower bathed in sunshine that is glowing through it's petals while highlighting it's petals long pollen laden stamens. Beautiful composition framing and lighting taken with superb camera techniques and sharp focus.

This flower is attractive and very unusual. Is this a species of Lily? Your photo is well focused and exposed. Light and colors are realistic. The Flower shows well refined details. The tight framing is adequate. The composition is balanced.

I like the composition, the main subject being the focal point is really set up nicely, by the angle of the shot.
I ado think that the focus is off, the main flower and its pedals and the thin, what I think are stamen, are not in crisp, clean, clear focus, which is a detractor to the flow of the image.
I like the posting of this unusual flower, just has the focus issue.
The framing is a little tight, it needs a little negative space at the top of the photo, so the image is in better balance visually.
