I think this is a Gerbera, one of my favourite modern blooms that often lift an arrangement or bouquet. The colour is good and looks natural the background is subdued therefore offers an uncluttered view of the blooms. I would like to have seen just one or perhaps 3 for more impact and balance even if the 3rd was another side view perhaps lower left. This is certainly a perfect bloom and your photograph has captured its beauty.

What a beautiful burst of summer color,I like how the yellow blends into that fiery orange! Excellent focus to show all the lovely detailing in these blooms,all against the dark green background that really make these sizzle like fireworks. An excellently composed photo that makes a great initial impact!

Barbara, what strikes me most on this photo is the contrasting colors... perfect!
Your oranges are flying off the page and the subdued greens allows it to do so.

These daisies are truly pretty with the orange and yellow petals, and I especially like the simplicity of the photo. The green softened background is also perfect for the flowers to stand out in an excellent way.
The photo is pin sharp showing such clear and well defined details both in the petals and the center of the flower, and the exposure is perfect. I also appreciate the crisp and clear colors.
The photo is nicely cropped and the flowers have got a perfect placement within the frame. I think this is a truly lovely and well taken photo Barbara, and with an excellent DOF. I wish you luck with the contest.
