The pose indeed looks acrobatic, but the Honeyeater seems comfortable sucking the sweet nectar upside down. The small panorama format emphasizes the unusual pose profoundly. The photo is well focused and exposed. I appreciate the sharpness of the photo and the realism of color and light. The bird is well placed within the frame. The composition is balanced.

A very nice shot that captures the feeding habit of this beautiful bird very well. I think I would like a little more at the top (but that is before I see what is there).

Thanks Mike - unfortunately the bird moved and I miscalculated framing as it returned - would have preferred better framing on top myself :)

Graceful photograph of this hanging bird that is trying to eat. Great details and natural colors with a beautiful composition. The background is very suitable for the presentation.

Mary,
A beautiful & interesting picture of the White Plumed Honeyeater hanging upside down sucking nectar from the Eucalyptus blossoms . The light highlighting it's beautiful plumage & the blossoms. Beautiful composition framing and lighting taken with superb camera techniques and sharp focus.

Well sometimes we have to exert ourselves to get what we want as your fine and appropriate composition amply demonstrates. Like the feather detail and the location. Exposure and sharpness are good. Nicely done!

Beautiful capture...this is nature and you bring joy to others by sharing such lovely pic...the subtle colours of the bird are looking good with dash of lemon yellow...blurry background adds to the overall impression

A great structured framework in panoramic format to present this subject, the Honeyeater.A nice defused backdrop to enhance the sharpness and clarity of your subject.
