What an amazing photo...a mere 5 stars does not seem adequate...wish I had a 6 for you. I can't believe you were able to catch this beautiful butterfly in mid-flight! The entire composition is stunning. I like the fact the everything but the butterfly is in soft focus. The white tree nymph's details are crystal clear. I can even see his little eye...wow! Thank you for this breathtaking photo for your viewers to enjoy and admire!

Maybe the leaf at the right is the hoist plant of the Tree Nymph. It seems that the butterfly wants to land on that leaf. Your photo is excellently focused and exposed and has good depth. The sharp capture of the insect. The refinement of the body and the marking of the wings is remarkable. The butterfly stands well out from the shallow background. The insect is well placed within the frame. The composition is balanced.

This is beautiful! Capturing a butterfly in flight isn't easy and you did it very well! The exposure and sharpness are excellent giving us a great look at all the tiny details on the butterfly. Great entry for the contest! Best of luck!
