Hey there!
This is quite an interesting photo and fits the contest description well. I definitely can see the outline of the rodent, whatever that may be haha. I can also see its right shoulder at is staring to the right. Great photo for the contest!

It's as if the 'Rat Fink' ( a not entirely pleasant cartoon character created by the
late custom hot rod designer and builder Ed 'Big Daddy' Roth in the early 1960s ) were somehow petrified in the bark of that mysterious tree!

This capture is interesting. The shape in the damaged bark looks indeed like the face of a rat, complete with a black eye which has a pupil with a light reflection in it. A brown nose also shows. The photo is excellently focused and exposed. I appreciate the sharpness of detail and the realism of color. The tall format emphasizes the face. The unusual rodent is perfectly placed within the frame. The composition is balanced.
