A very fine shot with excellent detail in the blossoms. They an unusual color and are much fuller and frillier than the hollyhocks around here. Best of luck in the contest.

Never seen the double hollyhock only the single ones these are very interesting bloom. Good composition always difficult to get well due to tall stem of flowers. Great color.

Chuck,
A beautiful picture of these cream coloured double Hollyhocks, their petals frilled like a ballerina's tutu. The dark tree in the background frames the Hollyhocks. Beautiful composition, framing & soft natural lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus,
Susan

The Hollyhocks are nicely captured. The photo is well focused and exposed. I appreciate the realism of light and color. Although, the white balance is correct, the white building in the background seems distracting to me. If this would be my photo, I would erase [clone] the building and replace it with the same greenery as is above. The Hollyhocks are well placed within the frame. The composition is balanced.
