What a great idea to take a photo of the stamens of a Clematis for this contest. I really like that the petals are gone, so we can fully appreciate what it left. The softened green background is perfect for the stamens to stand out in an excellent way.

Your focus is spot on and sharp showing really clear and well defined details in every part of the plant, and the exposure is perfect.

The format and framing is very apt, and I like how the stamens are placed a bit off to the right. A truly lovely and well taken photo with an excellent DOF. I wish you luck, and I would have given this photo 6 stars if I had any left.

Thanks, Sweet Annie. This was the natural condition of this image when I took this, because of the storm. Not my idea at all.

It has an interesting Exotic sort of a look to it with all of it's petals blown off,doesn't it?
It looks sort of 'spider-y and alien!
