Cleo,
A beautiful digital painting of the tiny Cgickadee perched a the end of the branch on a Pine tree the green pine needles/ narrow needle shaped leaves adding a spary of contrasting green to the Chickadee's white, grey & black plumage & bright little ever watching eye, before it flits off elsewhere not staying anywhere more than a few seconds. Created by your artitist's eye for composition, very skilful digital painting techniques & the gifted ability to convey on your canvas what your eyes see. Beautiful choice blending & application of your colours in bringing the Chickadee to life.

really a pretty type bird and your art reminds me of those wonderful, old book images, that are all hand drawn. this one and the others which i refer to are even more realistic than actual photos.

Nice plate, Audubon society type of an art piece.
I like the simple background, slightly textured and fading from a very light gray color to the more blue-gray at the bosom of the image.
I like the eye it has that brown tonal quality in the iris and the highlight in the pupil.
Nicely set up with the little branch and greenery to add a flow and some color.
I do think showing the feathers, their form in the wing would have put it over the top.( Would have made it a 6 for me.)

Thank you for allowing me to comment on the piece.
Have great day.
Cheers,
Lucien

This is a deceptively simple little bird, the neutral coloring, gradiations are hard to balance I'm sure. This is a lovely work of art. I'm not sure about the pine bough it's on, can't figure out. Maybe longer branch? Good work.

Hi Cleo, what a wonderful digital rendition of the chickadee you have presented! I see chickadees every day and can tell you that this is so very realistic! The shape and structure is spot on! The application and placement of the colors is perfect! You bring this little bird to life with that glint in the eye! I like the way you show it clinging to the branch and feel the green fronds were a perfect choice adding that little pop of color! Very impressive work ,this is a true pleasure to view!

can you imagine the comical action of me hopping around slapping my groin screaming..."IT'S ON FIRE!'..imagine if that happen in a bar or cafe and i can only imagine how folks would react...hmmmm that would be one way to get a female interested..of course my luck would be a woman asking.."if it falls off can i mount that on the wall? you know to scare off the other guys!" and on that note i would say she was being an alpha about it if you catch my drift..lol..yep im full of it tonight(thumbs up)
