What a beautiful entry into a contest like this, and I especially like how lovely the light is falling on the praying woman's face. She is in total peace with the world from the light and force from the Lord.
Your brush work is really good with smooth strokes, and you have used high lights in a very effective way.
I also like the format and framing and how the woman is placed all the way to the left. This of course makes for a good and well balanced composition. A truly beautiful and well done painting, and I wish you luck with the contest.

Woah Janicep1, this is beautiful. I love the technique of the background, the dark to the light and the angle of the strokes, the faith, simply emanates outwards from the soft face. The gentle colour palette suits perfectly.

Strong emotional impact, this beautiful woman with her eyes closed , her hands folded in prayer. She is well created with good facial shape and structure, features are proportionate, nice skin tones.
