I like the gritty textures of the photo, showing the old and rusted vehicles resting in the pasture. I also think it's really cool how the winter atmosphere also has this effect, of the old plants in here too, showing a theme of age and decay along with the cars, yet exalting the cars in a way that hints of a former life of adventure and excitement.

It is very unusual car that was on the road a long time ago. It looks weary futuristic and it would be nice to see it on the road in a good condition. Great composition, details and overall presentation m Sean!

You seem to have perchance for photographing cars from the years of my coming of age - thus your images strike memories that have lain unforgotten for many, too many decades.
Nice images of the sad state that a once proud car now is in. The stark naked and cold winter day further increase the feelings of what too many years have done to the subject and ourselves.

Love the contrast of colors here. I am wondering where you found this gem of a car, and I hope you did a whole series of the junk yard. I would totally love to see this is black and white.

Interesting photograph. Deserted hulks of metal on a cold desolate winter day. This powder blue Desoto must have been a beauty. Good eye!

Love this one sean!
Really cool back end angle. Cool sharkie fins! Great frame with the old weeds coming up and the bits of snow! Would make a great poster!

Hey Sean,

Very cool shot here. I remember the old Desoto's as I was growing up. Our neighbor had one. Very cool looking cars.

Nice angle of shot showing the dead grasses in the foreground leading up to the rust and those big fin tail lights. That was certainly the thing in those days.

I like how you included the old cars on the sides. The thing on the left looks like and old engine of some king.

Good show my friend ~ Steve

I love the perspective of this looking from a low view point. It makes the car look so large. The detail of all the rust and the weeds growing around it is great. I don't think this car is going anywhere too soon! Well done!

Another great find Sean! I love the way you have photographed this rear view abandoned 1956 DeSoto. Great colour against the snow and well rusted. Great clarity and lighting. Nicely composed with the surrounding trees and weeds. Thanks for sharing!
