BFF, you are doing it again! Wow, it at first looked like glass coins... then I saw the slight angle showing the bottles and I'm guessing sitting on a glass table?

A lovely entry into the contest... A mind blowing abstract as well!

Now, about those lessons?

A winner BFF :)

    Hey BFF!

Thank you so much for your More than generous review and rating. These bottles were in a cardboard box, bottoms up, and really caught my eye for their abstract look. The original color is a golden amber. I will post that one after the Black and white contest is over.

And yes, I am ready for my lessons whenever you have the time BFF. Hope all is going well ~ BFF

Interesting take. The subject lends itself well for a black and white shot! The light and shadows, and the composition have worked out well. Good luck!

A beautiful interesting picture of what looks to me like Wine bottles piled up just waiting to be filled with red & white wine! Beautiful composition framing and lighting taken with superb camera techniques and sharp focus.

A very good looking entry into competion posted here! You must be getting through lots of bottles to get this good photo! Like the overhead angle of your composition and the gleams in it. Exposure and sharpness are good. Well done and good luck!

Who would have thought of doing this, just goes to show what you can take a photo of if you put some thought into it.
Good way to form a semi abstract view, and at least steve you had the bottle to do this[could not resist that] wonder though if and I know it was for b/w contest if one colored bottle could have lifted this even more, but good use of imagination in this....Brian
p.s.hope they were not beer bottles.

Thanks a lot Brian. Yes this is for the black and white contest. The colored shots are very cool as the bottles have a golden brown color to them. May post one of them later. I like the idea of having one bottle colored in a black and white or one bottle colored differently in the color version. Good ideas Brian. Thanks a lot ~ Steve

Very inventive piece for the contest, Steve. You got good lighting to allow for the depth through and around the glass. The B&W enhances that effect for a dynamic view. Creative, well done and good luck in the contest. Ed.

Hey Steve!
Really an interesting photo you posted here. I really like how the center of the photo is the brightest and fades darker near the edges. This is a great idea, good luck I hope you do well in the contest!

This is an excellent close up. The photo is perfect focused and exposed and has good depth. Due to the reflection in the glass, the bottles appear indeed abstract and the composition gained an appealing 3D view. The black and white monochromatic emphasizes the reflections profoundly. The photo is excellent composed and framed.

An interesting image from a very fine perspective. The tight framing is great and the detail in the glass bottles is excellent. Best of luck in the contest.
