This is obviously the winner of the contest. Just a magnificent work of art. You are so gifted. The most prevalent thing about this piece is the expression of wonder on her face.

Hi Raul, Love how even in BW you managed to shoe the reflections of light on the astronaut. We can only imagine what Anna is looking at. The look on her face is one of awe. I think you have wonderful detail in this. It truly was a oy to view! So deserving of six stars and win of Traditional Artwork of the month! :o) Helvi

Hey there Raoul!
What a great drawing you have created of this first mother in space! The details, shading, and transparency of the glass on the helmet are all so well done. Very well done Raoul, great drawing!

She didn't actually give birth in space, did she?
It's hinted at that astronauts have had sex out there but I thought we were years away ( Light Years away? : ) ) from extra-planetary birthing!
My goofy musings aside,Raoul, that's a very good looking Picture!

A really good portraiture of this famous woman.Your application of graphite medium is wonderful and the structure of your composition beautifully done. The way you have portrayed the light falling across the glass and her face is brilliant.Congratulations on a fab piece of art work..its a 6 from me which is pretty rare !

I have never seen a photo of her, but I trust that you drew a good likeness of her. Your drawing looks realistic. Proportions and perspective are exact. The shading is excellent. I appreciate especially how you included the light on the face and reflection on the helmet. The portrait is perfectly composed and framed.
