Quite a nice entry into the competition posted here! There are certainly many textures here for us to savour and enjoy!! That cornice view gives us a good sense of the former glory of that room. Exposure and sharpness are good. Nicely done!

Unfortunately, this is a little difficult to see this as the photo is very blurred, but I can see that there is texture within the elements. The storyline is beautifully detailed to paint the picture also. And I like the colour palette. :)
Most of all I like that this painting you created has such a strong positive connection for you, and to me, THAT, is gold! That, is art!
