This is really lovely Cleo. The effect with its varying strokes is beautiful, and the textures of the squirrel and the bark of the tree. The colours soft and rather neutral together, work well. The look on the little squirrels face is delightful - a gorgeous capture. :)

Keep creating,

Hey Cleo!
I thought this was a photo at first glance! The textures throughout the piece are amazing and have been well rendered. The softness of the limbs, fur, and leaves is really well done. Thanks for the share this is awesome!

Well, I think his colors are beautiful, I think squirrels are the cutest little critters and this one is no exception, he's adorable as he sits up on the Branch with the nut held in his tiny paws, he is well created with realistic shape and structure, I especially like his face and the clear eye, complete with a nice catch light. Well shown texture of his fur, he seems quite comfortable and relaxed, I see he has his tail resting on the Branch behind him. I like the way you show the tree and the light in back. Well created, arranged and presented!

Indeed this squirrel is very cute and it knows how to beg. I bribe her/him with nuts. It seems curious, but I have never seen this one with curled up tail as the others. :o)

Wow, could be a variation of some sort of Gray squirrel... but he/she is stunning with the colors.
Your picture is a marvel with some great textures and such fine details. Lovely Cleo.

It could be either,Cleo!
If it's a mutation that offers a distinct advantage to the species they should all look like that eventually! ( Time will tell! : ) )
Your digital painting of this satisfied looking specimen is very enjoyable to look at,my friend! : )

This is a real charmer, Cleo. You've rendered the little guy so well with all those features described in your notes perfectly done1. Great job on its natural habitat surroundings too. A very fine digital piece.

A beautiful presentation of this Squirrel which could very well be a grey squirrel with a bit of red breed in it.I wouldn't say it is a full red due to the lack of brush on his tail. The application with palette knife of your textures is very well done as is your control of light permeating through the foliage.Great structure too
