love this photo...this shorebird seems to be participating in a marathon..you have this click brilliantly..i love the rocky background and the greenish water with subtle reflections...the wings of the bird are looking amzing with very nice pattern on it...overall very impressive

How fun is this action shot??!! It brought a smile to my face! The composition is so well balanced and focused on this funny little shorebird. The details are so crisp and clear...I can appreciate the beautiful feathers of this bird. Another winner of a photo, "Alaskapat!!"

A cyber SIX stars for this stop action picture of the Lesser Yellow Legs appearing as if dancing on the river Anchor wings flapping to aid it's balance. The light catching the sparkle in it's eye & highlighting it's plumage. It's right wing casting it's shadow on it's breast. It's reflection on the water broken by the ripples but still adding interest to the foreground. Beautiful composition framing and lighting taken with superb camera techniques and sharp focus.
