Hi Pat, Maybe this fellow is doing a river dance! LOL Love how the bird has it's wings out along with the big step.Did this bird just fly in and land? What ever he's doing it makes for a great picture. Along with the great subject you have excellent focus and lighting. Worthy of six stars in my book! Stay safe and Healthy my friend! :o) Nancy

Perfect title for this picture. I could not help but smile when I saw this image. The only thing that I would think that would wipe away my smile is if I saw a predator behind this lovely bird.

For me a fun image to look at brings a smile to my face. The focus is good. The pose is fun, like the bird is walking ever so carefully through the water. Making you wonder why,because it's cold?

Thank you so much Lucien, I followed this bird , it flew to the middle of the river, it was low tide, it landed, and immediately started taking these big steps, I think they handle the water temps very well. I as thrilled that I was able to capture the eye!
