A fantastic shot with beautiful light in the clouds. The exposure for the snow is excellent and the tree line in the foreground anchors the image beautifully.

Ahhh! I knew this was your work. Wow...that is so pretty! I can't believe all the snow on this mountain and here it is at the end of July!! I really enjoy the contrast of the dark trees (bushes?) and then this enormous snowy mountain glowing in the background! What a treat for the eyes!!

Ahhh! I knew this was your work. Wow...that is so pretty! I can't believe all the snow on this mountain and here it is at the end of July!! I really enjoy the contrast of the dark trees (bushes?) and then this enormous snowy mountain glowing in the background! What a treat for the eyes!!

I wish I still had a SIX star rating for this spectacular view of the snow capped Pioneer Peak in Palmer, under the rain clouds with glimpses of blue sky above & the dark pines at the mountain's base adding interest to the foreground. Beautiful composition framing and lighting taken with superb camera techniques and sharp focus.

This impressive mountain,with the treeline seeming to 'squat humbly' in front of it, makes me think of the more remote 'high peaks' of the Adirondacks in the depths of winter!
