excellent presentation except the title; there are lupins in a garden near home, they look different; nice close up of these red and yellow flowers against the green vegetation; just a bit too dark;

Brian,
A beautiful display of these eye catching Red Hot Poker flowers ~ Kniphofia reflexa with their red & gold flower spikes contrasting with the greens in their background. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

The abundance of the colorful Lupines is impressive. The vivid colors of the flowers are excellently emphasized by the grass and green leaves among them. The photo is well focused and exposed. I appreciate the natural-realistic colors. The photo is well framed. The composition is balanced.

This is not lupines Brian, but Red Hot Pokers. Lupines look different, and are usually blue, pink or white. You have however pictured them well, and with the vibrant colors of these flowers, this is a photo with a strong visual impact.

Your photo is sharp and it is clear and well defined details to be seen in all the flowers, and the exposure is very good.

The format and framing is working well, and I like the way the flowers are filling the photo. I think this is a lovely and well taken photo, and I wish you luck with the contest.

Hi Brian, these are gorgeous flowers but I don't think they are lupines, you have photographed them well allowing a good sense of this location as well as how they grow.
Well focused, this image is clear, exposure is correct, colors and tones appear natural. Well composed and presented!
