Gorgeous Susan! :)
Love the positioning of the Robin in the frame. Nice focus on the face and texture through the feathers, with some lovely soft background to bring the robin forward and, making it the star of the shot. Plus what a gorgeous little catchlight in the eye to bring it to life. :)

I think the robin had already a sip of the water. It looks as if there are water drops on its beak. Your photo is perfect focused and exposed and has good depth. I enjoy the realism of color and the sharpness of detail. The Robin is excellent placed within the frame. The composition is balanced.

A beautiful bird that looks particularly nice against the dark background. The detail in his feathers is excellent and the tiny water drop on his bill goes nicely with the fluted water pan.

Susan, You were definitely there at the right time to capture this charming shot! Love the way the robin has it's head tilted back to swallow the water. The wonderful lighting and focus show off the feathers beautifully, The dark back ground adds to that, Even though this fellow is swallowing you can imagine him singing too! Wonderful Job of capturing this sot just right! :o) Nancy
