Outstanding! Wish you entered this into the Man Touched Landscape!
Your white balance is controlled which pleases me very much, proving it is possible to shoot on sunny hazy days with no excuses.
Focus is sharp, details crisp and the colors are fantastic.
We have one here in Florida, I hope to capture without any humans around.
Superb capture Pat ;)

absolutely amazing. The native Americans are genetically our first cousins. I had a friend who was the last of the Blackfeet /mother German origin/ who wrote a book. It mapped out how our cousins from Siberia /Hungarians originate mainly from the Urals and behind there, some in villages still have almond eyes/ and came over to the other side and then down the States, so I totally understand his fascination. Wonderful statue, absolutely superb!

There is a lot of interesting features her. I like your story notes. The sculpture is a fine piece of work in its own right however your photograph has such a good angke that it incorporates a good view of the statues's locality and gorgeous setting. The capture has included very detailed imagery of the backdrop mountains whose colour compliments the trees in front and behind the statue. Great positioning and focus. Excellent scene design, exposure and light. Great sense of size also.

This carving is very impressive. It seems to capture the native soul of Alaska and integrated principles of the native arts closely. How you captured this Giant is impressive. The beauty of the Alaskan landscape emphasizes the carving perfectly. Your photo is excellent focused and exposed and has good depth. The carving shows crisp, refined detail. Colors and light are realistic. The giant is well placed within the frame. The composition is balanced.

A very nice composition with great details in the carving. I like the way you were able to isolate it against a completely natural scene. The colors are great and the lighting is excellent.

This is a fine shot of the awesome looking sculpture in wood. You have timed it well. The light and shadows, colours and the composition have worked out well. Good effort!

A fascinating image of a sculpture carved from a tree of this size of a Native American in such great detail. Taken with a lovely perspective of mountains, trees in the background and such a pretty blue sky. The sculpture is nicely placed in the image. Great lighting and clear focus. A pleasure to view!

a very great and rather surprising carved sculpture of a native American against the pine trees and snow covered mountains in the far background; very sharp details;

Wow a great image! Perfect lighting and color it's as I could actually reach out and touch the sculpture.
The picture is perfectly balanced and the mountain background really enhances the depth of the photo.
Outstanding work!

A pretty strange thing for a Hungarian to create in the US and Canada?! Would have thought a US or Canadian sculptor would have thought of ''this and done it long ago? Or maybe there is racial basis involved here? Your lovely image is well composed with good exposure and sharpness. Nicely done!
