What a beautiful capture my friend :~). It does not have a care or worry in it's beautiful little body. Fluttering from object to flowers with elegance and grace. Your depth of field is amazing here. You did a wonderful blur of the background which really makes one focus on the Beauty of this dragonfly. To me this looks like a winner for sure. Just SO BEAUTIFUL. What a beautiful capture my friend :~). It does not have a care or worry in it's beautiful little body. Fluttering from object to flowers with elegance and grace. Your depth of field is amazing here. The photo is excellent focused and exposed and has good depth. I am impressed by the refinement pf detail and the realism of color. I see even the vines in the wings. The shallow background emphasizes the insect remarkably. The tight framing is adequate. The Dragonfly is perfectly placed within the frame. The composition is balanced.

A beautiful stop action picture of the blue bodied Dragon fly alighted on the top of the stem, the sunlight from above highlighting it's blue abdomen ,the sparkle in it's blue eyes & shines through it's gossamer wings showing off the fine veins against the blurred greens of the background. Beautiful composition framing and lighting taken with superb camera techniques and sharp focus. Good luck in the contest.
