This is a lovely image. Beautiful color. Soft billowing white clouds. A scenic view. Well balanced and presented.
A pleasure to view. A big open world with hope of love and joy.

Love the capture of the flowing cloud formations. The rich blues highlighting the scene. The mountains have heavy shadows that I may have lightened in Lightroom a bit. I think it would have balanced the scene a touch. Good luck in the contest.

Thanks for your review. The dark areas are the shadows of the clouds on the Pine Forests on the hillsides beneath them.

I love the sky with the beautiful clouds. However, the sky seems to take the photo over. I would have liked to see more of the ground. The picture is very dark. Had the sun set yet? I didn't mark you down for anything. This might have been exactly what you wanted it to be. Other than the sky being so much of the picture, all other technical elements are there. Thank you for sharing.

    Mary,
Thanks a million for your complementary review on the view over the Great Sugarloaf Mountain with clouds overhead. For me the cloud formation made the picture. The dark commercial Pine forest covering much of the land under the clouds shadow accounts for the dark portion s of the landscape. I took a picture of the same view minutes later the clouds had past & the light had faded so the landscape was darker & the sky just a dull grey.

Very calm and peaceful scene, I love the clouds that bring a sense of motion as they swirl, nice show of this vast landscape.
Well focused, this image is clear, exposure is well managed, colors and tones appear natural. Well composed allowing more room for the sky. Well presented!

    Pat,
Thanks a million for your complementary review on this view looking towards the Great Sugarloaf mountain with the two peaked little Sugarloaf in the distance on the left. It was the clouds that attracted me to take the picture when I did. A few minutes later the clouds were gone along with the sun & the sky appeared grey!

This looks really good, I like how you have the sky and the mountains in the picture. The mountains are really pretty. And the clouds make the sky stand out even more.

Lovely landscape vista taking in a wide range of the countryside and seeing the Great Sugar loaf Mountain. Love the cloud formation and great that you have made room to see
these lovely fluffy white clouds amidst the blue sky.
Nicely captured and all the best in the contest Susan!

A very good looking entry posted here into the competion! Not sure though why you feel this is a "man touched landscape" though? Your lovely image is well composed with good exposure and sharpness. Nicely taken!

This landscape is intriguing. The mountains in the background are especial impressive. The cloud formation seem unusual. The bow of the clouds sat the right remind me of the head and neck of a white bird with a dark beak. Your photo is well focused and exposed and has good depth. I appreciate the realism of color and light. The landscape is well framed. The composition is balanced.
