You have indeed captured these powerful crushing waves well, and I think this is a great entry into this contest. I especially like the fine textures you have brought out, and also the nice and natural colors.
The photo is very sharp with clear and well defined details, and both the white balance and exposure is perfect.
I also like the format of the photo, and with the crushing waves off to the left, it is a very good balance in the composition. I think this is a truly lovely and well taken photo with an excellent DOF, and I wish you luck with the contest.

Wonderful stop action image of these crashing waves on a beach, I can imagine hearing the sound. I could watch waves in the sea for hours and love photographing them. Nicely composed including the rocks on the right hand corner. Good clarity and lighting. All the best in the contest.

oh i can see ya running back and forth with the waves trying to get that capture. what would be cute is those birds that run back forth on the beach dodging the waves would be following you back and forth while you were doing this. the birds would think that your just a big bird in the flock..lol. nice capture. the clarity is great. the capture of the light is great. the angle of the shot of this crashing waves is great. the image is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. good eye and great job overall.
