Those simple lines are indeed captivating. The proud pose is impressive. The look in the eye is mesmerizing. I feels as if this drawn bird looks at me. You brought this bird to live with sparse lines which flow exquisitely and lead our eyes. The drawing is perfectly composed and framed.

A beautiful minimalist drawing. The large eye reminds me a little of the Keane style. I like the dark bill and the curl of his breast feathers. Good luck in the contest.
