It is a truly lovely flower you have pictured here Lucien, and the vibrant colors make for a photo with a strong visual impact. It is also standing out from the green foliage in an excellent way.
Unfortunately the focus is a bit off leaving the stamens of the bloom too soft, and I also think the yellow petals are a bit blown out because of the harsh light.
The format and framing is very good, and the flower has got a fine placement within the frame. An all together lovely and well taken photo, but in need of some adjustments.

thank you for your support of my photograph and me, it is greatly appreciated. Sometimes no matter how hard you try it happens, the center seems a little out of focus when I posted it here, however, in the cameras lens it looked perfect.
I am pleased, other then that one little misstep, you like this piece.

As you know I take a lot of flower photos, and this has happened to me as well. I therefore take more than one, and always a couple with manual focus. You are of course more than welcome for the review.

It is not super sharp,I thought you were going for more of a soft,diffused image of the flower in contrast to the sharpness of the blades of grass.

The pastel color is what appealed To my eye. So I reckon that opinion would be the eye of the viewer. (Thumbs up)

The center looks indeed soft, but aceptable because the petals are sharp. Nontheless, if the center would be sharp, I would have rated 6. Did you ever try "selective focus"? :o)

Most digital cameras have it pre-load. The newer I-phones and tablets as well. Check the manual of your devise for it.
It alows you to manually set several focal points. That means you can manipulate the sharpness and depth throught the entire photo as you wish. :o)
